I found a photo of me at 21, proudly holding my nursing degree, thinking I had life all figured out… 😂 Spoiler: I didn’t.

If I could talk to that girl now, I’d have way more than 12 things to say 😂but these definitely make the list:

👉Wear your sunscreen every single day — yes, even when it's cloudy

👉Stop overplucking your eyebrows! They won’t grow back like you think.

👉Ditch the fake-and-bake tanning beds & baby oil 🫣 — your skin will thank you in 20 years.

👉Always take your makeup off before bed. No excuses.

👉Drink more water — you’re not a cactus.

👉Be kind to yourself — life can be messy, but you’re tougher than you think.

👉Follow your gut — it’s smarter than your brain sometimes.

👉Travel more — collect memories, not stuff.

👉Don’t change who you are or what you believe for anyone.- the right people will love you for you

👉People will come into your life for a reason — some are lessons, some are blessings.

👉Laugh a lot, love hard, and live life to the fullest — no regrets, just experiences.

👉Back yourself, take risks, and remember: you’re capable of more than you think.

👉People are going to talk no matter what, so you may as well give them something to talk about 😜

I’m often asked why I no longer offer PRP or PRF so here’s the honest answer.

PRP and PRF use your own blood to stimulate collagen and tissue repair. In aesthetics, studies show mild to moderate improvements, but results vary significantly depending on preparation methods, platelet concentration, and individual patient factors. There are no fully standardized protocols, and long term large scale data remains limited.

After offering it in my clinic, I found the outcomes to be highly patient dependent, subtle, and requiring multiple sessions. For the financial investment involved, I did not feel the results were consistently strong enough.

At YOUtopia, every treatment must be evidence aware, predictable, and worth your investment.

Instead, we focus on treatments like polynucleotides and biostimulants such as Radiesse and Sculptra that provide more consistent collagen stimulation and visible improvement in skin quality.

Some clinics continue to offer PRP or PRF and that is completely their choice. If it is something you are specifically interested in, I am happy to share reputable clinics that offer it and guide you in the right direction.

Transparency builds trust and that will always be my priority.
