My name is Dawn Graham and I am a Registered Psychotherapist providing individual therapy for adults experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, issues with self-esteem, difficulty with life transitions, and issues with sleep. Juggling work and personal commitments can lead you to feel like there’s never enough time to get everything done. Worrying about the future, or looking back on what you could have done better in the past, can feel overwhelming. This cycle of feeling like you’re not living up to your own expectations, or those of other people, can make you feel unsettled, off-balance and like you’re not fully present in your own life. By focusing on your unique situation, building on your strengths, and helping you define your personal goals, I can help you develop strategies to free yourself from the ‘should’ cycle and begin to create the life you want. Feelings of stress, anxiety and overwhelm can be replaced by the confidence and ease that comes with self-acceptance and more balanced expectations. As professional clinicians, we are by no means suggesting the oversimplification of dealing with issues!
