HOPE Centered Counselling

HOPE Centered Counselling HOPE Centered Counselling is committed and passionate about working with you to resolve struggles. ROOTED IN COMPASSION. BUILT ON TRUST. CENTERED ON YOU.

This is a space where you can exhale, where your story is honoured, your pain is held with care, and your hope is gently rebuilt. At Hope Centered Counselling, we meet you as you are: not to fix, but to walk with you toward healing, growth, and deeper self-understanding. Here, your voice matters. Your pace is respected. And your journey is supported with grounded presence and real connection. Why HOPE Centered? Because hope is more than a feeling, it’s a force. At Hope Centered Counselling, we believe that hope can be life-changing, even (and especially) when it feels out of reach. Research shows that hope supports resilience, emotional well-being, and the ability to move through life’s hardest moments. But we also know that when you’re struggling, hope can be the first thing to disappear. That’s why we chose this name. Our mission is to hold onto hope for you when it feels distant, to nurture it, protect it, and help you find your way back to it. We believe hope is a human right. A steady light. A starting place for change. And when therapy is grounded in real connection, inclusive care, and inner work on both sides of the room, hope can grow again. This is the heart of our practice. It’s why we show up. And it’s what we’re here to offer. Every step of the way.

Meet Monique 🌿
She’s here for the adults and first responders who’ve been carrying too much, for too long, offering space to breathe, understand, and heal.
We’re grateful to welcome her to Hope Centered Counselling 💚

We’re excited to share that Hope Centered Counselling is taking part in Habitat for Humanity’s Women’s Build Day this October! 👷‍♀️
This special event brings women together to build safe, affordable homes for families in our community. 🏡💛 As a business, we’ve already donated $100 to kickstart our fundraising, but we need to raise at least $300 to take part — and our hope is to go above and beyond that goal.
✨ Here’s how you can help:
Donate directly through our fundraising link https://www.zeffy.com/en-CA/fundraising/janeen-weatherhead — every contribution makes a real difference in creating homes and hope right here in Centre Wellington.
Together, we can build something beautiful for families who need it most. Thank you for supporting our community! 💪💙

Parents & caregivers, this one’s for you 💛 The ND Circle with Janeen is starting in October, and the full year’s schedule is now posted so you can see the topics we’ll be covering at each biweekly drop-in group.
Each evening we’ll dig into a different theme around parenting and supporting neurodivergent kids, youth, and young adults. It’s a space to connect, learn, and breathe a little easier knowing you’re not doing this alone.
There are only 10 spots each night, so if you see a topic that speaks to you, go ahead and reserve your spot here: 👉 https://hopecenteredcounselling.ca/therapy-groups-workshops-fergus-elora/
Big thanks to and .ca for helping spread the word 🫶

✨ Meet Ali ✨
We’re so excited to welcome Ali Darling RP (Qualifying) to our team! 💛
Ali is passionate about supporting people through the vulnerable, messy, and empowering parts of life. She works with folks navigating grief, loss, identity, relationships, self-esteem, sexuality, and intimacy. Her approach is warm, collaborative, and client-centred—offering a safe, affirming space where you can bring all the messy, complicated parts of yourself and lay them down without apology.
Ali is a neuro-affirming and q***r-affirming therapist who works from an intersectional lens, recognizing the broader contexts of race, gender, and culture. She draws from ACT, CBT, DBT, EFT, and somatic techniques—always tailoring therapy to fit you, not the other way around.
Outside of session, Ali loves painting, music, gardening, and cooking, and is happiest spending cozy nights at home with loved ones, board games, or a good movie. 🎨🌿🎶
We’re thrilled to have Ali on our team and can’t wait for you to meet her!
