Gina has almost 20 years experience in Traditional Chinese Medicine and specializes in fertility and pregnancy acupuncture. She has extensive training in Obstetric Acupuncture and believes in community building and awareness around holistic fertility, healthy pregnancy, natural pain relief in labour and post-natal care for mom, birthing partners and baby. She prides herself on taking an integrative and dynamic approach to healing; tailoring treatments to your individual and ever-changing needs. Gina was a Fellow of the American Board of Oriental and Reproductive Medicine giving her advanced knowledge in the field of pediatrics and reproductive health. Gina also has specialized training in sports injury recovery which aids in healing trauma, chronic or acute injuries, joint pain and instability, reduce the appearance of scars, and treat scar tissue related symptoms, and so much more. After receiving her BSc in Psychology at the University of Victoria, Gina continued her education at the Canadian College of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. She furthered her knowledge in holistic health and fertility with studies in Eastern, Western and Ayurvedic herbology to become a Planetary Herbologist. Gina is also a licensed esthetician, and possesses the skills and knowledge to blend both Western and Eastern beauty practices. She has a special appreciation and skill set for practicing Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture and other Holistic Beauty Treatments. In 2004, she studied with Virginia Doran, the Western World's premier Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncturist. Gina has studied with Dr. Debra Betts in Obstetric Acupuncture and develops workshops to create community and awareness around holistic fertility, healthy pregnancy, natural pain relief in labour and post natal care for mom and baby. Educating and providing her clients with resources to change their life so that they can take an active role in their own health and well-being are the two pillars of empowerment that form the foundation of Gina’s approach to healing.
