"Serenity for Sovereignty of Self" Retreat - The Year of the Fire Horse

This is an intimate retreat, limited to 10 people and designed to help bring you into deeper alignment through self- acceptance, self- discovery, self- improvement and self-love as we move into the new lunar year, the year of the Fire Horse.

Enjoy our signature "Serenity" experience resting in deeply relaxing restorative postures enhanced by hot stones placed over clothing, a special Ayurveda face massage or head massage (you choose) and immersed in therapeutic vibrations of himalayan bowls, chimes, drums and more.

This intimate setting creates a safe space to explore and embrace guided journal prompts around self- acceptance, discovery and improvement, write a love letter to yourself and gain insight for moving forward with more love, more grounding and more clarity with a guided card pulling spread and discussion.

Finish off with an Ayurvedic tea, snacks, community and a gentle forest walk, weather & time pending. Space is limited to 10 people.

Enjoy this uniquely blended class of Hot basalt Stones, restorative postures, therapeutic sound vibrations, head massage and aromatherapy for a deeply relaxing and nourishing experience.

This session is intentionally designed to support you on your healing journey as hot stones are carefully peeled on and off loose fitting clothing while you find rest supported by bolsters, blankets and eye pillows enjoying each posture for an extended time.

Gentle therapeutic vibrations will fill the space as you are immersed in the sounds of chimes, himalayan bowls, handpan, drums and more inviting you to sink deeper into your parasympathetic nervous system where you can release stress, lower blood pressure, blood sugar, pain & inflammation, enhance memory & clarity, and improve sleep, circulation & digestion.

Head massages, poetry, aromatherapy and sipping on tea in community will fill your heart and have you leaving feeling grounded, nourished, connected and supported.

THIS SATURDAY JAN 24 we meet together to support our friends and neightbours.

We have the best community here and I never take that for granted. This year's appreciation event is an opportunity for us to show up for one another with even more love and support as we raise money & food donations for the HAGERSVILLE FOOD BANK!!

They service the Selkirk, Fisherville, Nanticoke, Townsend, Jarvis, Cayuga and Surrounding area. In 2025 they supported close to 4000 individuals including 2,318 children!

100% of all the cash & food items will be donated!

With the rising costs of food, housing, utilities it is becoming even more challenging to make ends meet, so many are struggling. There was a 23% increase in services provided in 2025 over 2024 for two income families with children, single mothers, seniors and individuals. Our neighbours and friends need support. Following the holidays food banks run low on supplies, so this is a opportunity for us to help them restock!

I am also offering draw prizes!

There is no shame in using these services. This life can shift and change quickly. None of us truly know when we may need to call on support for services like this in our lifetime.

WHAT IS NEEDED?
ESSENTIAL HYGIENE ITEMS:
- diapers
- baby formula and baby food
- feminie hygiene products (tampons and pads)
- toothpaste
- tooth brushes
- shampoo & conditioner
- soaps and body washes
- toilet paper
- laundry detergent
- dish soap

NON-PERISHABLE ITEMS:
- peanut butter, nut butters
- jam
- canned tuna/chicken
- cereal and oatmeal
- powdered milk
- pasta & pasta sauce
- canned fruits/vegetables/beans,
- lentils
- rice
- canned hearty soups

**** EXPIRED FOOD WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.
Believe it or not, this is a huge problem with food drives. Please please be extra compassionate and mindful about expiry dates.
No homemade items please.

You DO NOT need any yoga or sound experience to join us and this is a wonderful opportunity to try it out!

Oh my goodness. Long post ahead 💗
When this came in yesterday, I sat at my desk with tears in my eyes. I have been reflecting on this journey ever since. What a beautiful journey it has been so far. Thank you.

Evolution of You started as a wee little seedling in my mind after I had come to yoga as a way to release the stress and worry I was under as a single Mom of a very sick child. Then it was forgotten in the ebs and flows of life.

After a serious car accident yesrs later, I could no longer go to my regular yoga classes, and I was introduced to various modalities to support my healing, including fascia release, Sound Therapy and Ayurveda teachings. The little seedling thrumed back to life. Twenty years later I am still on my yoga mat, and so very proud that I get to share my knowledge and lived experience to
support your life's healing journey.

Did you know EOY started out with a focus on little humans and facilitating classes in local schools? It did. The week everything was shut down I was to have my first week long kids yoga camp in my new studio space. It was full.
Needless to say the business and I, have both shifted and pivoted these past 8 years or so and now EOY is this beautiful side business servicing people of all ages and I wouldn't change a thing!

It is my hope that when you attend a class, a retreat, a sound immersion, an Ayuveda treatment that you feel safe to simply show up just as you are in that moment. That you discover more layers of yourself, feel included, accepted, cultivate a deeper love for yourself and have some fun in this wonderfully supportive community, and maybe enjoy the playlists;)

Thank you so much! There are not the right depth of words to express how grateful I am for each of you, that I get to do this work every single day, teach at beautiful studio spaces and Zen Country Wellness , and surround myself with some of the most wonderful people. 💜
