Happy Monday! I am back in office as of today!
I want to thank everyone who sent their condolences to me after losing Max. Life has been very different at home since then. Routines are totally changed and I have been catching up on much needed rest. Max had been dealing with terribly rotten teeth since before I adopted him and this fall and winter they started to develop infections. Unfortunately, he was too old to operate on by the time I brought him home at 15 years old so it was just something we dealt with the best we could. The last month of Max's life his jaw really started to bother him so from December 25th-January 29th I hand fed him all his meals and also dealt with his senior bathroom schedule which had me up every 2, 3 or 4 hours and once or twice he had me up all night. It really was like having a newborn baby those weeks but we made the best of it. I'm starting to feel more rested now and am so excited to get back to work and interact with the public again. Valentine's Day is coming up this weekend and now is the perfect time to pick up a gift certificate for a unique and fun gift for your significant other 💖

I'm sad to say that I am taking a bereavement break again less than 3 months after I said goodbye suddenly to my beloved furbaby Wren. Today I said goodbye to my sweet lil old man Max. He was 18.5+ years old (92ish in human years) and although our time together was short (3.5 years) it was so so sweet. 💗 My deepest apologies to the clients who have sent messages in the past couple days- I've been hosting friends and family who loved Max and were making time to say their goodbyes and fell behind on work messages. My pets are my children and losing them definitely pulls my attention from work to home and requires me to take time to grieve them fully. I am hoping to be back in office sometime next week but will update here when I'm back and will be responding to your messages then. Thank you for understanding ❤️

A little update: as you know, I had to say goodbye unexpectedly to my beloved kitty Wren last week and took the week off to grieve. Well, my heart and mind and body went through a lot last week, and apparently my immune system couldn't quite keep up. I've come down with quite the head and chest cold over the weekend and am unfortunately still in the thick of it. I am usually closed on remembrance day anyway but I will remain closed until I've kicked this nasty cold. I will post with an update on opening again when I am better. Thank you and sorry for any inconvenience 💖

Earlier today, I had a sudden and unexpected loss of one of my fur babies. Those who know me personally know that my pets are my children and this loss is just as devastating as losing an immediate family member to me. I will be out of office until next week. All clients who have an appointment scheduled this week have been messaged and all unanswered and new messages will be answered next week. Thank you for understanding.

A pretty good turn out despite the rain! 17 spooky little goblins and ghouls made it out to get their goody bags! 🍬 It's so fun to see kids return and excitedly say: "do you remember us from last year?" Halloween has always been my favorite holiday and I love being part of the magic for the new generations. Trick or treating was always so much fun for me: the excitement of walking door to door with friends and family and making the drive to see the same people every year- childhood teachers, babysitters, family friends and more. I just love it 🥰 Happy Halloween everyone! 👻 For anyone with kids who couldn't make it out due to the weather, I have about 25 goody bags left over and would love to give them away if you'd to stop by on a nicer day. Just shoot me a message and I'll arrange to be here to get them to you! 🎃
