Counterfeit drugs - including counterfeit prescription medications from online pharmacies – pose an extreme overdose risk.

Two public safety alerts have been issued this week to advise that a synthetic opioid (cychlorphine) has been detected in Thunder Bay in pills/tablets manufactured to resemble Percocet and Dilaudid.

Never take prescription pills unless they are prescribed by a doctor and come directly from a pharmacy.
