Happy St. Patrick's Day everyone! 🍀

Today was a very special day. Our residents enjoyed live entertainment by Steve Burnside, some delightful snacks, refreshing green beer, green ginger gingerale, and to finish it off a delicious dinner prepared by our wonderful chefs.

The kitchen had prepared mouthwatering corned beef and cabbage! Absolutely scrumptious.

What a great end to a fun filled day.

Great to see my good friend Burd Sisler celebrating St. Patrick’s Day today!

Burd is the oldest living Canadian, turning 111 in April, and served our country in World War 2. It’s been an honour to call him a friend and to have him nominate me to run for MPP.

I want to thank the incredible staff at Garrison Place for the work they do for residents like Burd, day in and day out.

If you are at Garrison often, you most likely met Freddie. Freddie is 6 months old and Burd is almost 111. Over 110 age difference. It never ceases to amaze us. Both gentlemen are absolutely adorable.💚💚💚💚💚

Today chef Bill had made a delicious lunch consisting of sweet and sour chicken bites with fried rice! 🍚

However, if you ask Miss Jean if she likes corn, she will say "I do like it, it doesn't like me"

Today our residents had participated in a scavenger hunt! We had twelve leprechauns on the loose they had the find! 🍀

Not only were they hard to find, but there were great prizes at the end!
