So many thoughts on my mind today… ✨
I’m so excited to welcome a new audience to my Digital Dowser space! 💻✨ From all those years of hairdressing, I realized my work was so much more than just beautifying hair. 💇‍♀️💖
My chair was a safe space—a place to speak about the parts of yourself others might not allow. Many clients—CEOs, doctors, and leaders—were hiding pieces of themselves… until we came together. 🌿🪞
In the care of hair and reflection in the mirror, we supported each other’s growth and wisdom. 🌸 We acknowledged moments we thought we were “broken”… and quickly removed that word in the safety of our shared attention. 💫
If you’re on my page and skeptical… 👀 That’s okay! We were all skeptics once. Most of us just realized life is way more fun when we don’t stay there. 🎉

🐍Near the end of the Wood Snake year,
I met them in a leather shop in Mexico.
Cream diamonds, black python, reddish-brown boa. I touched their pelts.
All three were different having their own weight, texture and length.
I felt through my bones. A vision of the Aztecs came to mind when they wore the skins in battle.
Colors revealed post-mortem. A lesson in endings.

As we move toward the Fire Horse year 🔥🐎
I’m reflecting on what I’ve outgrown
while remembering that others in our lives may be growing at a different pace,
or in a different direction altogether.

Not everything needs to be left behind.
Some things need space.
Some need patience.
And some…
Some skins can’t come with us.
Not everything is meant to survive the crossing.

Transformation asks for honesty.
So I ask…what are you willing to shed,
or gently let die, to meet the new year
without burning the bridge behind you?
