MacDonald : Jennifer
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Jennifer MacDonald in St. Catharines on February 1, 2026.
Jennifer was loved for her down to earth and welcoming spirit, her caring, nurturing and thoughtful nature, and her ability to be a calming presence in any space. Known for her selfless heart, Jennifer will be remembered for the generosity she showed others, her deep love for animals, and the endless love she shared throughout her life.
Jennifer is survived by her brother Chris MacDonald and sister-in-law Laura, and her nieces Samantha and Alexis. She will be fondly remembered by her cousin Laryssa Smith, her husband Jordin, and their boys. Jennifer also shared a close relationship with her aunts and uncles Ian and Rosemary MacDonald, Larry and Margaret Dennis, and Maureen and Lee Kitts, as well as many cousins, extended family members, and close friends. She is also survived by her father, Hugh Alexander (Bonnie).
Jennifer will be greatly missed by Dareck Stevenson and her stepdaughter, Anna Stevenson.
Jennifer was predeceased by her mother, Adrian, and her grandparents on both sides of the family.
A celebration of life will be held on April 25, 2026 at Victoria Lawn Cemetery at 11:00 a.m. A luncheon will be held following the service, with details to be shared at the service.
The family would like to extend their sincere thanks to the nurses and doctors at Marotta Family Hospital, as well as the staff at Scott Manor, for their care and compassion.
In recognition of her love for animals, the family asks that donations in Jennifer’s memory be made to the Fort Erie SPCA.
Jennifer will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her.
