Ever feel like your child’s “tank” is running low? 🪣✨
We often talk about the "emotional cup"—the idea that every child has a baseline need for connection, security, and joy. When that cup is full, they are more resilient, patient, and regulated. When it’s empty? That’s usually when we see those "big behaviors" start to surface.
The good news? You don't need a grand gesture to fill it back up. It happens in the small shifts:
Quality Time: 10 minutes of undivided attention.
Physical Affection: A long hug or a high-five.
Validation: Letting them know their feelings make sense.
Playful Engagement: Getting down on the floor and entering their world.
Which one of these does your child crave the most? Let us know in the comments! 👇
