Students from St. André Bessette Catholic School engaged in a scavenger hunt with residents today. They had to figure out 10 clues together to find eggs hidden around the building, and answer each question placed inside them. It was a great time filled with connection, laughter, and determination! Everyone received a prize for their hard work and the first three winners got something a little extra special! Huge thanks to the students for being wonderful leaders in the hunt! 🐣🪎

We 💙 our visits from our Linking Generations Society of Alberta friends. Weekly, our young friends visit, brightening our home and creating memories that will last a lifetime. We share stories, laughter, and hands-on activities proving that connection has no age limit.

Hoppy Easter 🐣 🐰 We celebrated with an Easter Tea 🫖, with some beautiful piano music by Caroline, and delicious treats like lemon cake and hot cross buns. Earlier this week, we decorated Easter eggs to display in our art show case.

We rolled out the red carpet and welcomed a full house for an unforgettable afternoon of laughs! 🤠

Our residents were treated to a classic country comedy show by Popovich Productions, filled with music, humor, and plenty of toe-tapping moments. From start to finish, the room was buzzing with smiles, laughter, and great company.

It truly was a show to remember! 🎵 🎸 🎭

🎰✨ Rivercrest Care Centre visits Vegas✨🎰

We rolled out the red carpet for an exciting afternoon of fun, laughter, and a little friendly competition! Residents tried their luck at dart poker, blackjack, horse races, roulette, trivia, nickel & diming, and even struck a pose at our Vegas-style photoshoot 📸

A big thank you to our special guests — clients from ElderCare Edmonton who joined in the fun, Lucas, Kristi, and Toni from Family and Community Support Services, and the students from Rudolph Hennig Junior High who did an incredible job running the games. Your energy and teamwork made the event truly special! 💛

From big wins to big smiles, it was an afternoon to remember. Thank you to everyone who joined us — we can’t wait for the next round! ♠️🎲

Meet the team behind the fun at Rivercrest Care Centre! 🥳

Our Recreation Therapy crew spends their days planning activities, sharing laughs, getting creative, and making sure there’s never a dull moment around here. From crafts and games to music, celebrations, and everything in between, they’re always finding ways to bring joy and meaningful moments to our residents.

✨ Katie, our Recreation Therapist, helps discover residents’ interests, strengths, and what brings them joy so we can create programs that truly matter.
✨ Danielle, Recreation Assistant, helps bring those ideas to life with creativity, energy, and a lot of laughs.
✨ Morgan, Recreation Aide, keeps the good times rolling and is dedicated to always making our residents feel special.

We’re lucky to have such a passionate crew making every day a little brighter for our residents.
