It’s not about perfection. Just the ability to enjoy every experience 💕That’s what life is all about. Do what makes you smile. What resets you. Go to the places, see all the things. Run, jump, play.
I teach others about pelvic floor dysfunction because one patient changed my life 4 years ago. Her story of how she gave up all of the things she loved like travel, golfing, running - because prolapse and incontinence took over. Pain, discomfort, fear, angst. It became hard for her to leave home. That doctors kept telling her to do more kegels and that when her prolapse gets severe enough, she may be eligible for surgery.
I heard her that evening and I could feel her despair. I remember apologizing. “I’m sorry that those were your options and I’m sorry for how you had to go through all of this!l”🩶
I promised her I would find a way to make women feel seen, heard and supported. Her story is similar to the story of so many women that are suffering and giving up quality of life. Waiting on a surgery date with no promise that it will be effective in the long term.
So this is me — nurse Angie. Just letting you know that you aren’t alone. And there are non invasive, manageable ways to feel like you again. To rebuild and recoordinate from the inside out. Not a bandaid approach.
I’m here to help you along that journey. Women helping women is always my goal 💕
