Executive Director (Part-Time)
We are currently seeking a part-time Executive Director to provide strategic and operational leadership to the organization, with a strong focus on fundraising and program development.
This is a flexible, part-time position averaging 21 hours per week, with hours and workload adaptable to the organizationโs needs. There is potential for increased hours over time, depending on performance, funding, and organizational growth. Candidates with additional clinical qualifications are encouraged to apply, as there may be an opportunity to combine administrative and clinical responsibilities.
Position Summary
Reporting directly to the Board of Directors, the Executive Director will play a key leadership role in guiding the agencyโs mission, overseeing program development, and securing sustainable funding. The successful candidate will build and maintain relationships with community organizations, government partners, and funders, while also managing staff and financial operations. This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of a well-established organization committed to supporting mental health and wellness in our community.
Key Responsibilities
โข Provide strategic and operational leadership in alignment with the agencyโs mission and values
โข Lead program development and evaluation
โข Develop and implement effective fundraising strategies
โข Identify, write, and manage grant and funding applications
โข Negotiate and manage funding contracts, ensuring compliance and reporting
โข Oversee financial management of the organization
โข Foster a trauma-informed, supportive workplace environment
โข Lead all aspects of human resource management, including hiring, supervision, and performance evaluations
โข Build partnerships with community organizations and government agencies
โข Promote the agency and its services through community engagement and public relations
Qualifications
โข A combination of education and experience in:
o Leadership and organizational management
o Fundraising and program development
o Financial oversight and reporting
o Human resource management
โข Strong interpersonal and communication skills
โข A collaborative and inclusive leadership style
โข High levels of motivation, integrity, and dependability
Assets
โข Knowledge of local community resources and programs
โข Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office, social media, and website management
