Mom! Get up and dance with Music & Movement, a new six week program at the Charlotte Street Arts Centre. Join instructor Lauren Rennie for this mother/child focused dance program designed specifically for new moms looking to combine physical activity with a little social time in a supportive environment.

“These movement based classes will offer moms and little ones a playful introduction to dance that they can do together with ‘follow-after-me’ activities using toys, musical instruments, scarves and more,” says instructor Lauren Rennie. “My hope is to encourage a fun and easy going atmosphere that will stimulate new interests in music and dance for toddlers that moms can enjoy too.”

After welcoming our little girl at the end of November, we have been adjusting to a family of four and getting to know the newest sweet little member of our family! I have been so looking forward to welcoming you back into my space and opening up my doors again to all of you. 🌸

I am officially on my last 1.5 weeks of being in the office, as we are expecting the arrival of our second child! My last day before my leave will be on Friday, November 1st. 🫶

I will be taking a shorter maternity leave and will be off until late Spring 2025! All current clients will be notified one month before of my return to office to book in, and I will be starting up my waitlist in the summer to new clients. Spring can be a season full of resetting for many of us, both within our physical spaces and mentally. Here are a few ideas of what you can do for a Spring reset that helps cultivate your inner wellness. 💐

With Spring, I feel that it comes with both a bit of shedding and embracing. We may shed some of the habits we may have picked up in Winter that we wish to adjust. The embracing of the longer days again, mixed with the nicer weather, can lead us to crave more time outside and connection to others that we might not have had in the darker months. 🤍🤗

With some Spring cleaning of both our physical and emotional spaces, what do you want to lean into (or less) this season? What can you shed/embrace? 🌸

Take some time to write these down and what they would mean to you! 🌈

We are so quick to place everything in a box, think within a black and white mindset - and where does that leave us? Feeling like we failed, yet again.

This is where the reality of the two truths mindset comes in. Allowing us not to see everything so cut and dry, as placing this weight on our healing journey is not helping us - only harming us.

Even if you learn alllllll of the emotional regulation skills, there are still days where you can be irritable and lose your patience (🙋🏻‍♀️).

Those days your other skills, such as two truths (self-compassion), can come right in to serve you. 🫶
