As indicated by New Brunswick’s Chief Medical Officer, Jennifer Russel, on May 8th , the province has moved into the second phase of recovery. As a result, Foundation Health Centre is permitted to re-open once all our procedural guidelines are in place. Strict policies and procedural treatment guidelines have been outlined by WorkSafe NB and each of the Provincial Regulatory Colleges for Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Dietitian, Social Work and Massage Therapy. Since these policy and procedural guidelines were only made available to us over the weekend, Foundation Health Centre currently remains closed.

The Foundation Health Centre team is working diligently to implement all the policies and procedures required to ensure the safety of our clients and our Foundation Health Centre team. Once a definite re-opening date is in place, an email announcement will be sent to all our clients and an update will be posted to our page.

In accordance with social distancing guidelines, Foundation Health Centre will be prioritizing the scheduling for in-clinic visits. Virtual services will continue to be available for all clinicians and their clients going forward. Additionally, our team of professionals will be contacting individual clients with previously scheduled appointments cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic and those who left messages for new assessments. We appreciate your understanding as our staff work hard at getting everyone rescheduled in a timely fashion.

Yes it’s a bit different than usual, but still a fantastic way to get yourself better through advice, education, and a guided specific exercise program and more. Foundation Health Centre would like to inform our clients of our Video Conferencing and Teleconferencing Services. These services are also open to new clients who require consultation.

Although this experience may be new to many of you, video conferencing and telephone conferencing offers considerable assistance during these difficult times. These methods provide an opportunity to interact with your therapist who can deliver valuable advice, education and/or specific guided exercise instruction.

To participate in virtual conferencing or telephone consultation, simply send an email to info@foundationhealthcentre.com or call the clinic at
206-6866. We are happy to set up an appointment time that’s convenient for you.

Please note that video conferencing can be performed on any of your electronic devices (tablet / smart phone/computer with we**am).

As we continue to follow the direction of New Brunswick’s Chief Medical Officer, Jennifer Russell, Foundation Health Centre will remain closed until further notice. We appreciate your patience and understanding. It’s a difficult time for everyone as we all adapt to social distancing and self isolation.

Foundation Health Centre recognizes this is difficult time for everyone. We also acknowledge that during this time, access to your healthcare professionals may be required. If you have any questions for your healthcare clinician, we are offering phone or video consultation. To access your clinician, please send a message to info@foundationhealthcentre.com with the name of your clinician. You clinician will be notified and will contact you accordingly.

In an effort to support those affected by COVID, we will not be requesting payment for this service. Instead, we ask you pay it forward by showing an act of kindness to a family member, friend or neighbour who may need reassurance during this difficult time.

New Brunswick’s Chief Medical officer has urged all New Brunswick residents, public service, and private business owners to take exceptional measures in an effort to reduce the risk of transmission of COVID-19. Working together, we can make a positive impact in reducing transmission of this virus!

Therefore, as of 5 pm today, March 17th, Foundation Health Centre will close until March 31st or until further direction is received from New Brunswick’s Chief Medical officer. We are working diligently to contact all of our clients who have appointments booked during that time and will ensure rescheduling of appointments accordingly.

The situation with COVID-19 is fluid and as a result, there maybe several changes to client appointments over the coming weeks. Rest assured; we will keep you up to date as additional information unfolds.

We regret any inconvenience and thank you for your understanding and support as we ban together as a community to tackle this difficult situation.
