Heartbreak update.

We are so incredibly sorry for interrupting your care - we know you all understand that something has to be wrong.

Something is.

Dr. Jay's Dad, Dan, passed away suddenly Monday evening.

We are all so devastated and heartbroken and trying to get up enough strength to get back on our feet.

Dan was such a big part of our lives. He was always there for us for the kids, for our animals, for anything we needed.

Many of you met him, and we know he would have stopped and chatted. He was one of those guys who really took interest in others, even if you were a stranger.

We hope to get back to you all next week.

We really want to thank our amazing staff, and of course Dr. . They have helped us so much.

Dr.John is seeing as many as he can and gosh. No words and describe how lucky we are and so grateful for his help.

Thank you all again.

Please keep us in your prayers. This has been so hard. We miss him soooo much.

This little guy has a special place in our hearts. If you've ever met Julian, you'd know he's the happiest little guy ever! He always has a smile on his face and has the best hugs!

Birth trauma sets the stage, and not enough people are recognizing it.

You're child's behaviour, their digestion, their latch, their motor milestones, their immune function, their detoxification processes, their ability to sleep, focus, learn, socialize, speak, regulate emotions, their cognitive functions, their executive function.....EVERYTHING is controlled by their nervous systems.

Getting pulled out of the canal with forceps, sucked out by vacuum, twisted and pulled with large hands, surgically removed via section may be necessary, but those forces wreck havoc on their brainstem and skull.

Then your baby is given to you and we hear your stories of struggle.

Maybe you were told that they would grow out of it.

Maybe your were told it was normal and fine.

Maybe your were told there is nothing you can really do.

Maybe you tried other things but you still wonder if there is more......

The impact of birth trauma can set the nervous system into a stress spiral we term subluxation, and cause systemic problems like we've listed.

Many parents wonder if their active, nervous, anxious child will be able to get on the table.

The truth?

Maybe not at first.

However, we are committed to helping your child find comfort in our space.
