Mid-Week Pop Quiz!

One of the questions we hear all the time in the clinic is, what makes the cracking sound during an adjustment? While it can sound loud sometimes, the sound actually comes from tiny gas bubbles releasing in the fluid around your joints as pressure changes. It’s called joint cavitation, and it’s completely normal.

Adjustments are designed to restore proper movement to joints that aren’t moving as well as they should. When motion is restored, it helps reduce tension, improve alignment, and support the function of your nervous system.
