We proudly participated in the Terry Fox Run, a Canadian tradition that began in 1981 following Terry’s courageous Marathon of Hope.
In 1980, Terry Fox—just 22 years old and living with cancer—set out to run across Canada on one leg, after losing the other to osteogenic sarcoma. His goal was to raise awareness and money for cancer research. Terry ran an astonishing 5,373 kilometers over 143 days before his journey was cut short when the cancer returned. Though Terry could not finish his run, Canadians and people around the world have carried his dream forward every year since.
Today, the Terry Fox Run is the world’s largest one-day fundraiser for cancer research, uniting millions across the globe.
That’s why we lace up. For us, this is more than a run—it’s about carrying Terry’s legacy forward, supporting those affected by cancer, and raising vital funds for research.
