I'm so excited! 😁
Last September we started by taking a photo every month. Rain or cold, the faerie goddess mothers went out into nature and bared themselves for the world to see. There are more than 50 powerful women featured in our calendar, and they range in age from 50 to 81.

I recently got out of hospital after a surgery. I was in for 7 days, during which time I had everything from opiates to less potent drugs for pain.
When I arrived home I was looking forward to managing the pain with cannabis instead. Nada!!
It took almost 2 weeks for the cannabis to start working again. I had to tough out some pain and reduce the pharmaceutical pain killers drasticall. Finally all the drugs cleared my system enough that last night I toked with one of my vaporizers and got relief. Hallelujah! I'm back on herbals again and feeling much better. 🥳
With cannabis I feel so much more in control. I can gauge what it's doing to me. I can manage it to suit my needs, physically and mentally.
I'm doing the happy dance tonight...in my head...but in another couple weeks I'll be doing it for real!

Stopped at a cannabis store in Nanaimo today to get some gummy ‘s. You can only buy a package that amounts to up to 10 mg. What the f**k!

Anyway I bought one container which is freaking huge, which was supposed to have four gummy‘s that were 2.5 mg each. After struggling to get the container open, I discovered that I’ve been ripped off and I only got three gummy ‘s. For nine freaking bucks. What a rip off.

I called in and asked them to have somebody send me my missing gummy, we’ll see what happens. This particular company is called aurora cannabis. When I called in I reached somebody in Saskatchewan.

Apparently this is a company that started in Edmonton and has expanded to Saskatchewan. You would think that each province would at least support the companies within the province, instead of bringing stuff in from elsewhere. Especially in British Columbia where we have been ahead of the Cannabis game for years.

Anyway, the lesson is check your containers before you leave the store in case you get ripped off. And ask them where it comes from and try and support the companies that are from a particular province you’re in.

In the meantime when I get home I will share my gummy recipe, which is much better than buying it at a legal cannabis store where you pay a friggin arm and a leg. 😊

I would like to create a specific list of all the GPs and NDs on Vancouver Island and the gulf islands that actively prescribe and work with cannabis products for their patients.

I'm talking doctors that know cannabis and understand it, not just prescription writers. Someone you can have a two-way conversation with. :)

Have you seen or heard of any?
