Start a company at 50 💗
Name it after your 3 sons 💗
Gamble everything you have on starting over in your Nursing career and heading to Calgary to train in a new field of Nursing💗
Work every single hour you can,
everywhere you can, booking locums as an RN while you spend every extra hour building something from nothing 💗
Have no back up, no safety net , no partner, no secondary income 💗
Have no game plan, no help, no business sense support💗
Have mountains of bills with no end in sight 💗
Give up free time, family time, gatherings , exhale time 💗
Dedicate credit cards and order more credit cards just to ordering company supplies 💗
Drive 7.5 hours one way to treat three patients trying to establish yourself 💗
Pay rental fees that on some days outweigh the income 💗
Book flights and hotel rooms and rental cars for two days work 💗
Sit outside a business owners Spa and impress on them your desire to bring something to their professional establishment that you’ll grow from nothing 💗
Miss all the meals and exhale times with friends, because youre heading into work for “just one patient who might just cancel “ 💗
Work your regular hustle as a Registered Nurse just to pay the bills and order your company’s supplies 💗
Cry , drown yourself in a non stop work ethic, scream, justify givng in and giving up , but never do , make decisions in solitude because it’s just you floating this dream 💗
Continue to balance all your single mom duties, volunteer duties , school committes , hockey committees, charity fund-raising duties 💗
Then…..At almost 54 …. Finally Look happy, healthier and more blessed than you ever did in the past 30 years 💗
You got a dream? Go chase it , because dreams don’t chase you…. You want a backup plan ? It’s always just getting back up 💗
