Thirty years ago, Dr. Kathy began HaltonHills in Georgetown with a simple goal: to care for people and support movement through every stage of life. Since opening on February 14, 1996, she’s had the privilege of growing alongside this community.

Over the years, she has treated patients as children and now welcome them back as parents themselves. We have celebrated milestones, shared challenges, and built relationships that feel more like family. This clinic has seen children take their first steps, students grow into professionals, and families return generation after generation.

To celebrate 30 years of Dr. Kathy practicing in Georgetown, we invite you to our Open House on Saturday, February 21st from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Thank you to our community partners!

This year marks a meaningful milestone for Dr Kathy Cameron. We are celebrating Dr Kathy practicing 30 years in Georgetown and would love to welcome you to our Open House.

Join us on Saturday, February 21st from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. to and celebrate Dr Kathy and the community that has made this journey so special. There will be give aways and prizes generously donated by Georgetown Soccer Club, Ontario Orthotic Lab, Vitality Depot, with more to come. Terra Cotta Cookies has also kindly donated cookies for guests to enjoy.

From opening our doors on February 14, 1996, to working with families across generations, Dr Kathy has always been about more than movement. It has been about relationships, trust, and growing alongside our patients and our community. We are grateful for every person who has been part of this journey and look forward to celebrating together.

Winter slips and falls are more common than many people realize, and they often happen during everyday moments. Picking up groceries, stepping outside to grab the newspaper, or quickly heading out in slippers can be enough to cause a serious fall on icy surfaces.

These incidents may seem minor, but they can lead to sprains, fractures, or lingering pain that disrupts daily life. Taking a few extra seconds to wear proper footwear, move cautiously, and stay aware of conditions underfoot can make a meaningful difference.

Please be especially careful this season. Your safety is worth the pause.

Strong ankles, strong moves 🦶✨ Try this quick routine to wake up your feet and improve mobility:

💪 Single Leg Balance – Stand tall on one foot, engage your core, and hold for 30 sec per side. Challenge yourself by closing your eyes or softening your knee.

👣 Toe Rolls – Lift your toes and roll them from heel to tip 10 times to wake up the foot muscles.

🧦 Rag Grabs – Use your toes to pick up a rag from the floor, 10 reps per foot, squeezing with your toes each time.

🟢 Banded Posterior Ankle Glides – Anchor a band and loop it around your ankle. Step back and let the band pull your ankle slightly while flexing your foot toward you, 10 reps per side.

🔄 Ankle Rolls – Slowly rotate your ankle in circles, 10 each direction, keeping the movement controlled.

↕️ Ankle Flexions – Flex and point your foot 10 times, moving through full range of motion.

Do this as a warm-up or recovery flow and keep your ankles happy and healthy! 💛
