Adding a door draft stopper is a great way to keep the cold air out and save on heating costs. The key is to make sure it's snug against the bottom of the door. If you're using a twin draft guard—the kind that slides under the door—be sure to measure the width of your door first so you can cut the foam tubes to the correct size. For a door snake or a weighted stopper, you can get a better seal by placing it on the inside of the door and pushing it firmly against the bottom edge.
