"Fire Departments Complete ICS I-100 Training
On Thursday evening, members from Musgrave Harbour Fire, Lumsden Fire, New Wes Valley Fire, Greenspond Fire, and Centreville-Wareham-Trinity Fire came together to complete the Incident Command System (ICS) I-100 course.

We extend our sincere appreciation to Andrew Parsons of Rescue Education Consulting and Training in Glovertown for providing this valuable training. The course was generously donated to support the preparation and operation of our Mobile Command Unit.

The training was both comprehensive and practical, highlighting how ICS principles are applied in everyday emergency operations. Participants gained knowledge and skills that will enhance coordination and response efforts across our service areas.

We are grateful for the opportunity to learn together and strengthen our ability to serve our communities safely and effectively."

🎃 Scary Good Training At Rescue Education🎃

This Halloween, the real legends aren’t in horror movies, they’re on the training ground. 👩‍🚒🔥

At Rescue Education Consulting and Training, our lead instructor is proud to be a Regional Trainer for the Fire Services Division of Newfoundland and Labrador and we’re here to turn your crew into the Firefighter 1's of their own story.

🪓Forcible Entry - "Here's Johnny!", but with skill, teamwork, and precision to force any obstacle.
🔦 Search - Find your victim every time, as relentless as Ghostface or Jason Voorhees who always get their victim.
💨 Ventilation - Tear through roofs with Leatherface-level confidence using a chainsaw but a lot more PPE.

But that’s just Act One…🎬

Tech Rescue - We will have you nimble and surprisingly dexterous like Chucky from Child’s Play. The difference? You’ll be using your skills to save lives, not scare them!

❄️ Ice Water Rescue – When the surface breaks, your training doesn’t… because when it comes to cold-water emergencies, you’ll be the IT everyone can count on.
🚗 Passenger Vehicle Rescue - Turn chaos into calm, one extrication at a time.

Our final Act is a standalone service we offer....🎬

💚 Peer Support Consulting - Stop Freddy in his tracks! Because nightmares aren't just on Elm Street. Even heroes need someone in their corner when the sirens stop after their darkest calls.

No jump scares. Just real training. 💪🔥
