Karly graduated from the 3 year Massage Therapy program at Sir Sandford Fleming College, receiving an Advanced Diploma in Massage Therapy with honours. During her time at Fleming College she had the opportunity to treat a wide variety of clients in the Student Massage Therapy Clinic. While balancing her studies as a member of the Women's Varsity Soccer Team, she was also the recipient of the Massage Therapy Program Faculty Award, for excellence in professional growth and development. After successful completion of her registration exams with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario, she became a Registered Massage Therapist in August 2014. Karly has also completed a Bachelor of Allied Health Sciences (Honours) degree, as well as courses in Advanced Dynamic Taping and Integrated Massage Therapy for the Functional Assessment & Treatment of Sports Injuries & Concussions. From 2015-2021 she was a Sport Fellow with the Canadian Sport Massage Therapists Association. Massage Therapy Fees:

45 mins - $75
1 Hour - $90
90 mins - $125

Registered Massage Therapy is able to remain open with all regulated health professions during the province-wide lockdown. The rest of this year is booked up, but the office will re-open on January 4th.

Here’s an outline, followed by the details of how our clinic will currently operate. These requirements & guidelines have been set by our governing body & will be strictly adhered to for the safety of all clients, RMTs & their families. Please keep everyone’s safety in mind when being screened; be open & honest in your answers. We realize that even with all of these precautions in place the risk cannot be 100% mitigated & understand if you’re not interested or comfortable with booking an appointment at this time (benefit should outweigh the risk).

Due to the large amount of time blocked off after each appointment to clean/disinfect & fewer available appointments, our “No-Show/Late Cancellation” policy will be followed (excludes illness & emergencies). With all of these requirements, the booking process is a bit slower than usual, so I greatly appreciate your patience & understanding as I gradually contact cancelled clients from Mar-May & those that have contacted me in the meantime (urgent appointments starting to be booked for next week).

Although our clinic look & procedures have changed a bit, our commitment to the health & safety of our clients remains the same. We look forward to seeing a few familiar faces again!

UPDATE: Ontario has recently announced that some regulated health professions, including registered massage therapy, may return to a GRADUAL reopening. Our office is currently NOT OPEN yet as there are a large number of changes to implement before being able to safely re-open. With these requirements just recently announced, I am hoping to be ready to re-open in the week of June 8th if all goes well, or the following week if there are any delays. The College of Massage Therapists of Ontario has created these requirements and guidelines based on information from the Ministry of Health and Public Health Ontario.

In terms of booking, RMTs are required to prioritize treatments with essential care needs first while gradually resuming practice. Over time I will be contacting clients that had their appointments cancelled in March, April and May or who have contacted me in the meantime about booking. With having fewer appointments available per day, I appreciate your patience and understanding as I gradually book appointments back in.

As a heads up to clients, if you need to obtain one ➡️ Currently all clients are required to arrive to their appointment wearing a clean disposable or clean reusable mask. Clients will be required to wear the mask for the duration of their appointment. If this is not medically possible, a risk assessment must be done to determine if a treatment may occur. RMTs are currently required to wear a surgical mask at minimum for PPE.

In following the most recent COVID-19 recommendations from the CMTO and public health, we will temporarily be closing our office until further notice for everyone’s health and safety. Anyone with an appointment booked will be contacted as soon as possible. We will be re-evaluating the situation on an on-going basis.
