Due to weather conditions earlier this week, the window installation has been postponed until next week.

Access to the front driveway has been available throughout this week and will remain open until Monday, March 23. If weather conditions permit, installation will resume on Monday and continue throughout the week, during which time access will be restricted.

We’re pleased to offer a Mental Health First Aid course at Alexandra Marine and General Hospital this April.

This course is designed to build awareness and confidence in supporting others. Participants will learn how to recognize when someone may be experiencing a mental health challenge, communicate effectively, reduce stigma, and provide meaningful support. The training also includes opportunities for personal reflection, along with an overview of available mental health resources and supports.

Please be advised that vehicle access to the main entrance driveway remains temporarily restricted due to ongoing construction to replace the third-floor solarium window. Due to windy conditions earlier this week, the installation was delayed.

Please note the following during this time:
🔹 The main entrance will remain open to pedestrians.
🔹 Vehicle traffic in the front driveway will not be permitted.
🔹 Access via the stairs from the parking lot will not be affected.

All outpatient drop-offs and pick-ups at the front entrance will be redirected to the emergency entrance.

We appreciate your patience and will provide an update once the work is completed.

Dietitians provide support through every stage of life, offering guidance that promotes healthy growth, builds resilience, and helps prevent or manage a wide range of health concerns.

Today, we’re proud to recognize Yvonne, our Registered Dietitian, whose knowledge and dedication help individuals better understand the connection between nutrition and overall wellness. Through personalized counselling, she supports patients in reaching goals such as managing high blood pressure, improving cholesterol levels, and navigating conditions like prediabetes and diabetes.
