Considering reaching out to a footcare nurse but skeptical of what takes place?

The initial appointment is always a good way to start.

It begins with a brief conversation about your health goals involving your feet and lower limbs. We go over your health history and concerns.

A thorough inspection of your feet and limbs and explanation of what will be happening during the treatment. This includes nail care, skin care, and corn and callous reduction. A circulatory massage is given at the end with a diabetic friendly, urea foaming cream.

Education will be provided throughout, and any recommendations will be explained of the what, why and how to obtain.

Last up, we look into booking your next appointment in 6-8 weeks.

“It’s so expensive”

Nursing foot care can you save you hundreds with preventative care.
Have your feet treated right and avoid potential amputations, ulcers, wounds, thick callouses and sore corns.

Stop searching for the perfect shoe and see a nurse who can proper recommendations on what would be best for your feet.

It’s not a quick soak and scrub. It involves detailed assessments, PROPER nail cutting and filing to avoid ingrown nails, and removal of those thick callouses that ruin your socks and cause pain in every step.

Even a yearly assessment (recommended) can help you a long way.
