Of all the trips to Egypt I was lucky enough to join with my mom, one of the most meaningful was the one I decided to take at the very last minute.

If you find yourself in a place in your life where you can take that leap on short notice, there’s a journey departing next month (November 14th — 26th, 2025).

Cheryl Aarts will be guiding the group. She’s shown up for me and my mom’s work in a beautiful and powerful way over these past few years.

I have no doubt she’ll be a wonderful pillar, holding space for both the logistics and the magic of a sojourn through Egypt.

For me, this year has been a year of having difficult conversations.

With clients, with students, with colleagues, with family.

It hasn’t been easy, but I understand the weight that I would carry if I chose not to have these challenging conversations.
