Seasonal Closure Notice
With a string of chilly mornings, it’s time to say goodbye to the season! The Sani-Dump, our public washrooms, and the Grand Forks Municipal Campground are now officially closed for the year.
We’ll see you again in the spring!

The Grand Forks Fire Department is currently actioning a fire on Covert Road and requests that the public please remain clear of the area. People have been driving by to "have a look" and the unnecessary traffic is impeding the crew's ability to fight the fire and for trucks to deliver water to the site.

Starting today (October 8th, 2025) and continuing through October, the City of Grand Forks will have a third-party Contractor performing fire hydrant inspections and maintenance throughout all areas of the City.

Please be advised that this will take place during the hours of 7:00AM to 3:30PM. As a result of the inspections and testing, you may experience a temporary reduction in water pressure and/or discoloured water. If you experience discoloured water, please run cold water until clear.
