🎶✨ ’Twas the Night Before Wellness
Twas the night before Christmas, and all through the place,
Soft warmth filled the rooms with a gentle embrace.
The salt lamps were glowing, the crystals were bright,
And Soul House felt magical, peaceful, and right.
Terri moved softly, her steps light and slow,
Preparing the Centre with a comforting glow.
The singing bowls shimmered with tones calm and deep,
Still humming their echoes from moments of sleep.
The massage tables waited like clouds in a row,
Where aches turned to ease in a candlelit glow.
Reiki had drifted like soft winter streams,
Mending the heart and rekindling dreams.
The yoga bolsters were plump, warm, and round,
A quiet retreat where stillness was found.
The yoga mats lay in a neat little line,
Inviting a breath… a release… a unwind.
When suddenly—footsteps! A knock, then one more!
Terri turned gently to peek at the door.
In danced Tricia, with snow in her hair,
Singing, “I need a sound bath, some exquisite air!”
Then Savanna stepped in with weary delight,
Whispering, “Reiki might fix me tonight…”
Devlin came next with a holiday grin,
Saying, “My to-do list is wild — I don’t know where to begin!
I’ve wrapped, baked, and shopped till my brain’s in a spin…
Do you have something for that? Maybe peace tucked within?”
Sheri slipped in with a bright burst of cheer,
“Terri, I need grounding before the big day gets here!”
And Tina walked softly, her voice calm and sweet,
Saying, “A moment of quiet would feel like a treat.”
Natasha arrived with a jolly hello,
Though she sighed, “Even joy can become overflow.”
And Cassidy, juggling her gifts with a sway,
Said, “A meditation might save me today!”
Temeeka stepped lightly from out of the storm,
“Just a breath would be healing, a pause soft and warm.
It’s been a long season of hustle and spin —
I need to find stillness and settle within.”
Then Kula came forward with a comforting tone,
“Some grounding and peace — that’s all that I’ve known
To bring me back home when the world is too loud…
A quiet soft moment apart from the crowd.”
At last came Grandma, with sparkle and grace,
A warm winter smile lighting up the whole place.
“I’d love a small moment,” she said with delight,
“To welcome calm magic this beautiful night.”
Terri welcomed them all with a soft, steady cheer,
“Come in, breathe, release — you’re all safe here.”
She guided them gently to mats and soft light,
Where worries grew softer, and hearts felt more bright.
Then softly, like snowflakes that twinkle and sway,
A shimmer of magic began to display.
A glow filled the Centre—so gentle, so bright—
As the Spirit of Wellness stepped into the light.
“Peace to you all,” the kind Spirit began,
“For balance and softness are part of the plan.
Tonight I bring gifts that no ribbon can hide—
Warmth for your spirit and calm for your stride.”
She gifted each person their perfect small thing—
A breath… a soft moment… a gentle soul-lift.
A sound bath for Tricia, a glow for Savanna,
A reset for Devlin in soft, peaceful manna.
Warm grounding for Sheri, deep quiet for Tina,
Light ease for Natasha, sweet calm for the dreamer.
A mindful soft moment for Cassidy clear,
And stillness for Temeeka to draw herself near.
Some rooting for Kula, a soft peaceful blend,
And Grandma received comfort, like greeting a friend.
And turning to Terri, who’d helped all day long,
The Spirit moved closer with a whispering song:
“Even the busiest hearts need a moment of peace—
So here is a pause, a small, gentle release.”
Terri breathed in, letting everything slow,
A short, tender rest in the candlelit glow.
Then smiling, the Spirit rose up through the air,
Leaving warmth, light, and softness simply everywhere.
And Soul House stood peaceful, serene and just right—
A haven of wellness on a calm winter night.
Terri whispered with joy as she dimmed down the light,
“Happy Wellness to all…
and to all a good night.”
All of the best to Your House From Soul House this holiday season.
