Our first Float Story 🤍
Meet Genevive.
Gen has been with us since the very beginning, and we are so grateful for her trust and continued presence at Soul House.
“Floating at Soul House Wellness has become an essential part of my overall well-being. It’s one of the few places where I can fully disconnect and reset, both emotionally and physically.
The moment I settle into the warm, buoyant water, everything quiets—my mind, my breath, my stress. It gives me a sense of calm and clarity that I carry with me long after each session. I float regularly and now my mind and body have retained the muscle memory of entering the building, the shower, and the tank. I am able to settle into the ‘disconnect’ very quickly.
I also rely on the float tank as part of managing a lower-back injury. The weightless environment allows my spine to decompress in a way that provides real relief from pain and pressure. The high concentration of Epsom salts infuses the water with magnesium, which helps my muscles relax even further. It’s one of the only therapies that consistently leaves me feeling lighter, more comfortable, and genuinely supported in my healing.
What I appreciate most is the atmosphere Soul House has created. The space is warm, intentional, and deeply calming—somewhere I feel cared for the moment I walk in. It’s never rushed; there’s room to breathe, settle, and simply be.
Floating at Soul House has become a meaningful ritual for me—a place where emotional wellness and physical recovery meet. It helps me manage stress, nurture my body, and return to myself in a way nothing else quite does.”
Thank you, Gen, for being such a beautiful part of our Soul House family 🤍✨
