A great reminder, we have what it takes to keep going. 💜

Whenever I feel like giving up, I remind myself of Edison’s and other stories of incredible perseverance that I have the GREAT privilege of witnessing in my work as a therapist. The courage and fortitude it takes to stay alive, to keep digging, to take the next step, to believe even when no one else believed—is beyond humbling and inspiring. Despite insurmountable odds, (perceived) failure, multiple set-backs, haters and nay-sayers, broken promises, unbelievable and profound loss, humans (& creatures) all around us offer the reminder that we, too, could maybe keep trying.
