Job Posting – Pharmacy Assistant
Location: Health Hub Pharmacy, Unit 106, 10127 121 Ave, Grande Prairie, AB
Pay: Up to $22.75 an hour
Job Type: Full-time / Part-time
Experience Required: Minimum 2 years
Schedule: 8-hour shift, Monday to Friday with alternating weekends, potential overtime, day shifts
About the Role:
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Pharmacy Assistant to join our dedicated team at Health Hub Pharmacy. The ideal candidate will help ensure smooth daily operations, provide excellent patient care, and support pharmacists in delivering timely and accurate service.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in preparing and dispensing medications under pharmacist supervision
Manage and maintain medication inventory and supplies
Record and update patient profiles and medication histories accurately
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Provide clear, respectful communication with patients regarding their prescriptions
Maintain cleanliness and organization in work areas
Ensure all safety and pharmacy regulatory standards are met
What We’re Looking For:
At least 2 years of experience in a pharmacy or healthcare-related role
Proficiency in medical and pharmaceutical terminology
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Familiarity with medication handling and administration processes
A commitment to quality patient care and service excellence
