Getting movement in does not have to be difficult.

Sometimes it can be as easy as laying on your floor watching love is blind while using resistance bands.

The import thing is that you do it. If 5 minutes is all you can manage to get in, GREAT- you got 5 minutes more movement than you would have if you didn't do it.

Exercise is such an important part of staying healthy, but for some people (me) its the hardest habit to maintain.

❤️Happy Valentines Day!

This morning, I made grain free, dairy free, egg free, and sugar-free crepes, and they turned out delicious.

The crepes are made with chickpea flour, tapioca starch, and oat milk batter, with some added cinnamon, ginger, and clove.

Inside is filled with frozen berries that I warmed on the stove and sliced banana.

The sauce on top is made with Daiya vegan cream cheese ( this stuff if delicous), oat milk, vanilla extract, and a little vanilla protein powder.

I really just threw things together, hoping it would work out... and it did 😁

🌱I’ve recently made the switch to making my own laundry detergent and dryer sheets, mainly to reduce my exposure to endocrine disruptors.

Endocrine disruptors are chemicals that can interfere with our hormones by mimicking or blocking them. They’re commonly found in things like synthetic fragrances, chemical fabric softeners, and preservatives , especially in conventional detergents and dryer sheets. These don’t just rinse away; they hang out on our clothes, towels, and bedding and sit right on our skin.

The bonus? It works great. It’s saving me money in the long run, and I used mostly ingredients I already had at home.

The really cool part is that these same ingredients can be used to make cleaners for all around the house. Next up, I’ll be using washing soda (sodium carbonate) as a bathroom cleaner 👏

Back from vacation and feeling refreshed☀

Traveling looks different for me than it did not too many years ago, and I honestly love it. My first stops this trip? A garage sale 😆and wondering the grocery store to check out all the alternative food options in the States. And honestly.. we are missing out here.

I had really good intentions of documenting how you can travel and still try to eat well. That turned into 1 photo of a half eaten flon 😂. Not healthy, but absolutely delicious. I did however snap a few photos of some snacks I found in the grocery store. Really good content, I know haha.

🥞As many of my client's know, breakfast is often the hardest meal to stay on track with. It's often high carb and if you are avoiding eggs, gluten or dairy.. good luck. Booking a kitchenette meant I could keep my mornings simple with smoothies and also save money.

This winter I have been a little more sedentary that I would like to admit. Getting out, walking a ton and a few rounds of golf was exactly what my body needed. Movement does not have to be complicated to be effective. 🏌🏼‍♀️
