I had the opportunity today to attend a small business breakfast in Calgary with some of the best business coaches and leaders from across the country. The premise of the discussion related to all businesses, large and small, but the discussion wasn't about what the businesses do or what they offer for products or services. The discussion went much deeper than that, into the core values as to WHY a business does what it does. It's about what personal values the owner, managers and staff have that drive them to be in their profession or line of work. The "why" for any business comes from within: the vision, the mission and the driving force of anyone to work towards greatness. So in following, I wanted to tell you a little about why I do what I do, why I became a chiropractor and why I treat the people that I do. I believe in overall health and wellness for everyone of every age. It's about quality of life for every individual I work with, being able to play the sports they want to as they age, to continue the careers they chose and to remain active into their later years of life so they can travel, or go hiking, or play with their grandchildren. I feel the most important part of life is being able to enjoy your time doing the things they love. Working with individuals to improve their quality of life is my driving force for greatness.
