Costa Rica was amazing! Norte yoga and surf “hotel” was the perfect place for our yoga retreat. It was more like a mini resort that was just for our group. How cool is that?
Everything we needed was so close. The ocean was only a 5 minute walk!
My body loved the heat and all my aches and pains went away.

I was really hoping to come home to less snow but winter doesn’t seem to want to go away!

Today would have been your 83rd Birthday. It is also 2 months since you died. How can 2 months seem like so long ago?

The old Joni Mitchell song “Both sides now” keeps playing on repeat in my head for some reason.
“I’ve looked at clouds from both sides now
From up and down and still somehow
It’s cloud illusions I recall
I really don’t know clouds, at all.”

This makes me think that Mom is trying to say that her side of the clouds are so beautiful, unmarried by the dirty darkness of our world. She is no longer weighed down by the heaviness of this life. So when I look up at the clouds I imagine her side and how beautiful it is and how happy she must be,

Deanne is working with a potter from California refining her techniques and pushing her growing edges of ability. The result is taller, thiner, more intricate shapes and forms.
The bottle form is the hardest of all to make. She has some beautiful oil bottles coming out soon!
