Do you often experience pain or tension under, around or between your shoulder blades? 🤔

This could be caused by tension or trigger points in two particular muscles that are very often overlooked. 🤯

I’m talking about Subscapularis and Serratus Anterior!

Subscapularis is the deepest of your rotator cuff muscles and lives directly under your scapula then peaks out to attach right at the top of your humerus.

Serratus Anterior covers a good chunk of your rib cage. It starts on the external surfaces of your upper eight or nine ribs and then covers Subscapularis and attaches into inner border of your scapula between your scapula and your rib cage.

I’ve heard that last nights game was a really tense one!
Being a hockey fan can really take a toll on your body. All that pacing back and forth, nail biting, jaw clenching, and explosive cheers can leave you feeling like you were the one on the ice! 🏒

I still have some openings next week to help you decompress from tomorrow nights game! Make sure to take good care of yourself so you can keep cheering on! 🥳

Between all the smoke and seasonal allergies, it’s seems like sinus congestion and tension head aches are on the rise.
Therapeutic massage can be very beneficial for relieving congestion, inflammation, improving breathing, and clearing the nasal pathways.
I’ve still got some availability tomorrow and next week if anyone wants to book in!

I want to introduce myself. I am a registered massage therapist in Grande Prairie, Alberta.
I graduated 2 years ago and have been operating out of Dysfunction Junction since then.
I specialize in therapeutic massage and am also trained in myofascial massage, TMJD, cupping, and more.
