R. Work Group is a team of professionals focused on helping people find their best career fit. Are You Looking for A Job? Do you want a career, not just a job?

Are you frustrated because you haven't found the right job fit and keep losing your jobs? Do physical disabilities or mental health issues impact your ability to work? Are you a person who is unemployed, underemployed, or at risk of losing your job? One of our main client groups are people who are career explorers and job searchers who are looking for an edge in the job market. We provide that edge through dynamic small group training (online during Covid=19 restrictions)

For over 20 years, we have helped people find and keep a job. We specialize in serving people with:
- Physical and/or work-related injuries (e.g., chronic back pain, fibromyalgia, arthritis, carpal tunnel syndrome, amputees)
- Chronic illness (e.g., Crohn's, M.S.)
- Traumatic Brain Injuries
- Psychiatric / Mental Health related issues (e.g., anxiety, depression, bi-polar disorder, schizophrenia, PTSD)
- Cancer

We assist job seekers and career changers with choosing, finding and keeping a job in permanent, full or part-time positions. Are you unemployed, underemployed or at risk of unemployment we are now offering career coaching workshops to people who want to update their job search skills. We currently have two exciting opportunities available:
1️⃣ One position focused on supporting youth (permanent)
2️⃣ One position supporting people with disabilities (term to March 2026, with possible extension)

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys connecting people, building relationships, and making a tangible difference in our community. It could be a great fit for a semi-retired professional, such as a teacher, social worker, or community leader who wants to continue making an impact in the career lives of others.

🔑 Key Responsibilities
• Build and maintain strong relationships with local employers.
• Lead employer marketing and outreach to create employment opportunities.
• Support clients with coaching, job readiness, and vocational guidance.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure successful employment outcomes.
• Maintain accurate program documentation and reporting.

🧩 Qualifications
• Post-secondary education in Human Services, Education, Rehabilitation, Marketing, or a related field.
• Strong communication, marketing, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in employment services or workforce development is an asset.
• Knowledge of the Grande Prairie labour market and employer needs.
• Must reside in Grande Prairie or the immediate surrounding area.
