Your nervous system isn’t “too sensitive” — it’s trying to protect you.
When stress, overwhelm, or anxiety show up, regulation isn’t one-size-fits-all. There are different pathways you can use depending on what you need in the moment:
🟢 Body-based: Move, rest, breathe, ground
🔵 Mind-based: Slow thoughts, reframe, notice patterns
🟣 Emotion-based: Name feelings, practice self-compassion, let emotions settle
🟡 Support-based: Talk it out, lean on safe relationships, set boundaries
The key is flexibility. Sometimes your body needs movement. Other times your mind needs clarity — or your heart needs care.
