The story behind my “Reiki Companion Service”- A service that grew from real moments
This service came to me through many experiences I’ve had supporting loved ones who were going through illness. In those moments, I really came to understand how much this kind of holistic, gentle, caring support is needed! That inspired me to create a “Reiki Companion Service” for those who could benefit from additional emotional and energetic support during their healing journey.
Real, compassionate care can’t be imitated or faked. Genuine, heartfelt service comes from a place of sincerity—offered by those who truly care and that is the authenticity behind my whole business..true, authentic, loving care 💜 and if you know me, you know that’s who I am
Long before I stepped into my work as a Reiki practitioner, I felt a deep pull towards caring for others, especially animals.
As a teen, I volunteered as a “candy-striper” at my local hospital, supporting patients in different ways, offering as much care as I could at that young of an age.
Over the years, that care has grown into something much deeper. I’ve gained more life experience, became a mother of two, and learnt more about compassion, care, and the importance of helping others. I’ve had the privilege of supporting friends through post-surgery recovery during their journey with cancer, holding space for healing not just physically, but emotionally and energetically as well. I’ve also been there for a loved one in the hospital during a severe illness, focusing on helping her body rest, restore, and strengthen her immune system through gentle, supportive energy work.
One of the most meaningful experiences was being by my grandfather’s side during palliative care. In those emotional moments, Reiki became a way to bring peace, calm, comfort, and connection to not only him but to our family members who were around him day and night also needing care, comfort, and a few moments of rest 🤍🕊️
These experiences have shaped the way I approach my work today. To me, Reiki is not just a practice—it’s about being a steady, compassionate presence for someone when they need it most. It’s about creating a space where the body can soften and relax, the mind can calm, and the body can heal.
If you’re going through a challenging time, recovering, or simply needing support, know that you don’t have to do it alone 🤍 🫶
