Massage therapy isn’t a one-and-done quick fix!

We love helping our patients feel better — but lasting pain relief takes consistency. That means stretching between appointments, improving posture, strengthening where needed, and booking regular massage therapy sessions to stay ahead of tension and injury.

At Move Medicine, our Registered Massage Therapists work with you to create a sustainable recovery plan so you can move better long-term — not just for a day or two.

Joint pain and inflammation can limit your ability to move comfortably — but you don’t need to travel outside Northern Ontario for advanced treatment.

Cortisone injections are available locally in Sudbury and may be covered by OHIP with a referral from your MD or Nurse Practitioner.

Cortisone injections are commonly used to reduce inflammation and relieve pain associated with:
• Osteoarthritis (knee, shoulder, hip)
• Tendonitis (rotator cuff, Achilles, tennis elbow)
• Bursitis
• Sports injuries causing joint inflammation

By targeting inflammation directly within the joint or surrounding tissue, cortisone injections can improve mobility and reduce discomfort so you can return to everyday activities.

Referral required. Please note: we do not manage oral medications or low back pain concerns.

If you’re searching for cortisone injections in Sudbury or OHIP-covered injection therapy in Northern Ontario, contact our clinic to learn more.

The rumours are TRUE 👀

We offer PRP injections right here in Sudbury!

Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) therapy is a regenerative injection treatment that uses your body’s own healing factors to reduce inflammation and support tissue repair. It’s commonly used in sports medicine for chronic tendon injuries, osteoarthritis, muscle tears, and stubborn joint pain.

If you’ve tried rest or physiotherapy and still aren’t seeing improvement, PRP may be worth exploring.

You don’t have to leave Northern Ontario for advanced injection therapy — it’s available at Move Medicine. Contact us today:

Shockwave therapy is a non-invasive treatment that stimulates healing in chronic soft tissue injuries. At Move Medicine, Dr. Kelly Hotta uses shockwave therapy to treat conditions such as plantar fasciitis, tennis elbow, calcific shoulder tendinitis, and chronic Achilles pain.

This treatment works by promoting blood flow and tissue regeneration, making it ideal for stubborn injuries that haven’t responded to rest or physiotherapy.

Shockwave therapy is suitable for many age groups, though severity and overall health will be assessed during consultation to ensure safe and effective care.

Jaw pain, clenching, grinding, or tension headaches may be signs of TMJ dysfunction. At Move Medicine, we offer Trigger Point Injections (TPI) as part of a comprehensive TMJ treatment plan.

TMJ trigger point injections target overactive muscles in the jaw, face, and neck to reduce muscle tightness, improve range of motion, and relieve facial pain. This minimally invasive injection therapy can help decrease tension and restore function so you can speak, chew, and move comfortably again.

If TMJ pain is interfering with your daily life, our sports medicine team can help determine whether injection therapy is right for you.

Chronic tendon pain? Osteoarthritis that isn’t improving? A sports injury that just won’t heal?

Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) injections at Move Medicine offer a natural, regenerative treatment option designed to accelerate healing and reduce inflammation.

PRP therapy uses a concentrated sample of your own platelets to stimulate tissue repair in injured tendons, ligaments, muscles, and joints. It is commonly used in sports medicine to treat:
• Chronic tendon injuries like tennis elbow, golfer’s elbow, and Achilles tendinitis
• Osteoarthritis in the knees and hips
• Acute sports injuries such as sprains and muscle tears
• Post-surgical healing (ACL reconstruction, rotator cuff repair)

PRP is a non-surgical injection therapy option for patients looking to improve mobility and function when physiotherapy alone hasn’t been enough.
If you’re searching for PRP injections in Sudbury or regenerative injection therapy in Northern Ontario, our team can assess whether this treatment is right for you.
