Bendigen Sudbury

Bendigen Sudbury Oahas Sudbury-Ontario Aboriginal HIV/AIDS Strategy provides services to urban Indigenous individuals living with, affected, or at risk of HIV transmission.

We want to share a Vision of LoVe for our Aboriginal brothers and sisters in Ontario and beyond: a Vision 4 LoVe of ourselves as individuals; 4 LoVe of our families - biological, familial and chosen; 4 LoVe of our communities; and 4 LoVe of our Nations. To LoVe oneself is to have the courage to know our own health and body; to know our HIV status and be honest with ourselves about it. Also to extend LoVe within our families, to share wisdom & knowledge. It is important to listen with compassion to each other’s needs, and to accept and help each other every day. To bring LoVe to our communities happens through respect, truth, sharing and acceptance for every member. Also to open LoVe to our nations and to recognize that we are all part of something greater.
