It's vital to be informed about global instability, but not at the expense of your mental health. This World Mental Health Day, we recognize that protecting your psychological well-being means carefully managing the dosage of crisis exposure.
Learn to distinguish between being aware and being saturated. Curate your feed, limit your scroll, and deliberately seek out sources of calm and hope to balance the weight of global news. 🌍

Thank you Sudbury! You've blown it out of the water. One week before the event we were sitting at $10,000. Within a week and a half, you've brought that total to over $24,100 for NISA/Northern Initiative for Social Action and Mood Disorders Society of Canada!

A special thank you again to everyone who supported the event in any way - from our title sponsor Vale Base Metals, our local sponsors, Mac Media, LiUNA Local 493, Wellness News, Luxor Management Inc., Knights of Columbus, Minnow Lake Lions Club, Local 800, Tail Blazers, Iron Workers 786, to Lactalis who donated chocolate milk, Real Canadian Superstore with the water and snacks Good Earth Coffeehouse, Buzzy Browns, 46 North Brewing, and Overtime, Party City who shared our save the dates, everyone who fundraised, donated, volunteered, who braved the gloomy weather on May 24, shared our posts on Facebook, and of course our hosts at the Mood Disorders Society of Canada - we are so appreciative of you! It takes a lot of love to put on an event like this every year, and we've felt it! No matter how you contributed, you rock!

We'll have some more pictures from the event for you soon, but until then thank you again for showing us the love. 💛
