Our first WWAD of 2026 is finally here 🎉

It’s been a while, and we’re so excited to reconnect with everyone — and hopefully welcome some new faces too!

Walk Details:
🗓️ This Sunday, March 29th
📍 Indoors at Science North
⏰ 9:00 AM

This session is extra special. Since it’s been so long since we’ve met, we’re making this a participant-led walk — where you can share what health topics matter most to you. We’d love to hear your thoughts, questions, and experiences.

As always, feel free to bring your friends and family — everyone is welcome.

Hope to see you all there!

Unfortunately, we have had to cancel this month’s WWAD walk.

We’re hoping to reconnect and resume our walks soon and can’t wait to see you all then!

In the meantime, we encourage you to stay active in whatever way feels good for you — whether that’s a short walk, stretching at home, or getting some fresh air as the weather warms up.

Thank you for your understanding and continued support. We appreciate our WWAD community so much and look forward to walking together soon.

Here is our recap of the November talk! A huge thank you to Dr. Lindsey Rebeiro at ReBalance Sudbury for the wonderful presentation and for kindly creating our recap poster.

We’ll be taking December off to enjoy the holidays and reconvening in January… but that doesn’t mean you’re excused from walking 😉❄️

Wishing you all a happy holiday season! See you all in the New Year! 💫

For those who missed our last walk — or just need a quick refresher — here’s the poster recap from our walk with Dr. Hirji!

Also, an IMPORTANT REMINDER as winter approaches: staying active is just as important (if not more!) this time of year.
❄️🚶‍♂️❄️

Any type of movement counts. If it’s too cold or icy to walk outside, try walking indoors on a treadmill or even just in circles around the house. Aim for 5,000–7,000 steps a day.

The impact of regular movement on your health can’t be emphasized enough. You should always make it a priority!

We hope to see you at our next Walk with a Doc! ❤️

In the meantime, keep on walking!!!
