Today’s ritual cracked me open a bit.
I almost skipped it. I didn’t want to touch grief — not today.
Flicka left the ranch. Not death, but separation.
The kind of absence that rearranges your mornings.
But I did it anyway.
Because real self-care isn’t always soft candles and bubble baths.
Sometimes it’s the courage to meet what hurts.
✍️ The Grief Writing Ritual is simple:
Write your ache.
Rewrite it.
Let repetition release what silence holds.
Grief writing moves emotion through the body —
activation → expression → regulation → integration.
Gentle doesn’t mean weak.
Authentic doesn’t mean dramatic.
It means alive.
