Community Helpers Program - North Peace Region CHP serves youth and young adults ages 12-30, as well as adults who support youth and young adults

The Community Helpers Program (CHP) is funded by Alberta Health Services and is delivered through 27 partner service organizations which includes school divisions, non-profit organizations and post-secondary institutions. Training is offered to an existing group or a nomination process is undertaken and training is offered to those who are identified as natural helpers by their peers. The program serves youth 12-30 as well as adults who support youth and young adults (coaches, teachers, volunteers, parents, employers etc.)

Hairdressers, Massage Therapists, Physiotherapists, Nail Techs or anyone who is providing Customer Service:
You are often wearing a variety of hats when it comes to managing your relationships with your clients!

It can be challenging to manage your own boundaries while tuning into what other people may need.

Get training on how to take care of yourself, while you are effectively and caringly show up for your clients on a daily basis!

The workshop is free and certified by Primary Care Alberta.

Learn skills and knowledge around providing your services as well as how to support others in ways that are sustainable.

The school divisional Community Helpers Program and the Resource Centre for Su***de Prevention are offering not only a workshop for your Pre-Teens (Grade 4-6) to attend but also fun! We are bringing in a special guest from Grande Prairie as well.
