🎃👻 Spooky Season is in Full Swing! 🍂✨

Our residents have been busy getting ready for Halloween — painting festive fall canvas art and turning boxes into our very own “Feed the Monster” candy collection bin because we’re getting ready to welcome 50 little trick-or-treaters from the daycare! 🍬👶🧙‍♀️

We even took a fun outing to Strom’s Family Farm to pick out the perfect pumpkins for our fall displays 🎃🌾
And we didn’t forget about our furry friends — residents baked homemade pumpkin dog treats for the pups who live in our building! 🐶🎃

Saturday we hosted our Annual Health and Wellness Expo, welcoming over 15 wonderful vendors — just to name a few; Woodlawn Pharmacy, the Arthritis Society, VON, Hospice Wellington, Costco Membership, Pure Trim Joint, Guelph Wellington Seniors Association, Seniors and Wellness, and the Canadian Health Care Agency.
Residents and the community enjoyed exploring resources, learning about healthy living, sampling tasty snacks, Virtual reality and relaxing to beautiful live piano music by Mary Lynn Woods 🎶
A big thank you to all our vendors and participants for making this event such a success! 🌿✨

🍂🍻 We had a blast celebrating Oktoberfest during Happy Hour with the Dynamic Duo! 🎶
Residents enjoyed non-alcoholic beer, root beer, and an assortment of pretzels – some dipped in white chocolate, others in classic chocolate. 🥨✨
The music had everyone up and moving, and our Engagement Coordinator, Sarah, even led the famous Chicken Dance! 🐔
