We get it… you want to keep your glow going ☀️✨ but self tanner and laser do NOT mix! 🙅‍♀️

Here’s why it matters 👇
Laser targets pigment in the skin. Self tan (and sun tan) tricks the laser into seeing more pigment than it should, which can:
• increase the risk of burns or irritation
• lead to patchy or uneven results
• make the treatment less safe and less effective

For best results, always come in with clean, untanned skin and avoid sun exposure before your appointment.

✨ Yes, cysts can be treated at ArtMed!

This before and after shows the removal of a large scalp cyst, carefully excised in its entirety under local freezing. The area is then stitched, with stitches typically removed within 7 to 10 days. The after photo reflects the area post-removal, with healing well underway and a smooth, clean result. The scar will continue to improve over time.

Our Nurse Practitioner, Ingrid , is highly skilled in the removal of benign lesions, including cysts, ensuring precise technique and thoughtful care.
