Transforming healthcare through giving. At Guelph General Hospital, every piece of equipment used in the direct care of patients comes from a community donor.

Not all essential costs are covered by government funding. Local community support is essential to the ongoing work of a hospital. Right now, you can join our record-setting $34 Million campaign which will address urgent needs. Your donation will help us expand our Emergency Department and include much-needed, dedicated spaces for mental health and addictions care. We will invest in new patient care equipment and technology, and we will upgrade our Special Care Nursery to support our tiniest patients, and their families. The Guelph General Hospital Volunteer Association continues to make an incredible difference. Alongside the countless hours they give to the hospital, they’ve donated $10,000 to support a new blanket warmer for the CT unit in Diagnostic Imaging, bringing their 2025 total to $20,000.💙🙌

Through the Courtyard Boutique and vendor program, these incredible volunteers have raised more than $1.7 million over the years to help fund essential patient care equipment.

Their generosity and dedication truly reflect the heart of our community. We're so grateful for everything they do.

The Foundation of Guelph General Hospital is thrilled to announce a community match as we work toward a new community-based medical centre to Guelph-Wellington.

From now until year-end, donations made towards the medical centre will be matched dollar-for-dollar (up to $500,000) thanks to an incredible match donation by FDC Foundation. This new centre will expand access to diagnostic imaging services, including the installation of a second MRI machine – doubling current capacity and bringing vital health services closer to home.
