Happy Friday 💜
This week felt like a whirlwind, so I’m curious… what are your weekend plans?
Resting, shopping, catching up on life, or doing absolutely nothing at all?
Whatever you choose, I hope you find a little moment just for you.

Canadian Surrogacy Options wasn’t born from a business plan.
It was born from a mom and daughter who believed that families deserve every chance to grow.

My mom, Joanne, became one of the first surrogates in Canada back in the early 90s. After helping families and seeing the gaps in support at the time, she built CSO with one goal in mind:
to create a safe, ethical, supportive place for women and families walking this path.

I grew up watching her do this work with heart.
And today, decades later, I carry on the same mission she started — with the same compassion, the same integrity, and the same belief that women deserve to feel cared for every step of the way.

Our history isn’t just a timeline.
It’s a promise.
And it’s the reason you can trust that when you reach out to us, you’re stepping into a legacy built on honesty, support, and real human connection.

If you’re curious… if you feel that little pull… if you just want to ask a few questions quietly, we’re always here.

💜 From our family to yours - thank you for being part of our story.

CSO didn't begin as a business plan.
it began with a woman who understood what it felt like to give a family something they couldn't give themselves... a child, a future, a chance. ✨
After carrying for three families, including a little miracles from an embryo that was said to have "Almost no chance", she saw what so many missed.

Surrogates deserved real care.
Intended Parents deserved real hope.
And Canada needed someone willing to build the bridge between them.

That is how CSO was born. Through experience, through heart, through the kind of compassion you cannot teach.

Today, the need for women like you is greater than ever.
Women who feel that little tug inside, the one that whispers, "Maybe I could help someone else..." ❤️

If you ever wondered what it might feel like to be a part of another family's story...

You do not have to say Yes.
You can simply ask.
Quietly, Comfortably, With no pressure at all 🌱

Whenever you are ready, we are a message away.

🌈 Did You Know?
💜💙 CSO + LM were the first ever surrogacy and egg donor agencies in Canada to openly support LGBTQIA+ families.

Back in the early days, when most agencies were saying “no,” our family said “yes.”
Yes to two dads.
Yes to two moms.
Yes to q***r parents of every kind.
Yes to love building families in every form. 🌈💕

There were no roadmaps and almost no one doing what we were doing. But we believed in showing up for people who deserved a path to parenthood, long before it became common or widely accepted.

Today, seeing LGBTQIA+ families thriving through CSO and LM is one of the most beautiful parts of our legacy. And it all started with a simple truth we still hold close:

❤️ Love builds families. Always has. Always will.

🪁 CSO + LM
Proudly supporting LGBTQIA+ families since the very beginning.

So many women stop considering egg donation because of things they’ve heard, not things that are true.

❌ “You’ll run out of eggs.”
❌ “You have to look a certain way.”
❌ “You can’t donate if you have an IUD.”

The truth most donors go on to have their own families later, donating eggs doesn’t “use up” your fertility. You’re born with hundreds of thousands of eggs, and each month your body naturally releases many that are never used. The donation process simply retrieves some of those eggs that would have otherwise been lost.

And the idea that only certain women “fit the look” couldn’t be further from reality, clinics are looking for healthy, emotionally mature donors, not perfection. Donors come from every background, ethnicity, and body type.

Plus, having an IUD doesn’t automatically disqualify you. Many types (especially hormonal IUDs) are completely fine during the donation process, as long as your cycle can be monitored accurately, you may still be eligible.

We know it’s hard to tell fact from fear, especially online. That’s why our team walks every donor through what’s actually required and debunk any myths you’ve believed.

Does egg donation affect your future fertility?

It’s one of the most common (and understandable) questions we hear from women considering egg donation.

Every month, your body naturally selects a group of eggs to mature, but usually, only one is released during ovulation. The rest are simply reabsorbed by your body and never used.

During an egg donation cycle, gentle medication helps a few more of those naturally available eggs mature at once, instead of letting them go to waste.

Studies from the American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM) show that egg donation does not reduce your future fertility or your total egg reserve when performed under proper medical supervision.

In fact, many donors say the process gave them valuable insight into their own reproductive health, since fertility testing is part of every screening.

So no, donating doesn’t take something away. It just gives unused potential a purpose.

If you’ve ever thought about helping someone build a family, we’d love to guide you through what the process really looks like.

Step 1 would be to take our 30-second interest form to learn more about becoming an egg donor.

You’ve seen how hard it can be for some people to become parents.

Maybe it’s a friend. A sister. Someone who’s been quietly hoping for years.

Egg donation is one way to give that hope a real chance.

Here’s what many people don’t know:

When you become an egg donor, you go through a thorough medical screening to ensure your own health first.

The process typically takes 6–8 weeks, and you’re guided through every appointment by your coordinator and medical team.

Your eligible expenses are reimbursed according to Canadian guidelines and you’re cared for before, during, and after the retrieval.

If you’ve ever thought, “I wish there was something meaningful I could do,” this might be it.

Send us a message to learn more.

It can feel unfair when your heart says “I’m ready to help,” but biology has its own timeline.

Most fertility clinics set the average egg donor age cut-off around 32. That’s not because anyone stops being capable or caring after that, it’s because egg quality and success rates naturally decline with age, even in healthy women.

This guideline helps give intended parents the best possible chance of creating embryos that lead to a healthy pregnancy.

If you’re close to that age or have questions about your eligibility, don’t guess, ask. Our team can walk you through the requirements, the science behind them, and whether there’s still a path forward for you.

Sometimes the hardest part of wanting to help… is learning you might not qualify.

Here are a few reasons someone may be disqualified:

- Past pregnancy complications
- Currently breastfeeding
- Living in a province where surrogacy isn’t permitted
- Certain medical conditions
- Smoking, va**ng, or drug use

We know how much heart it takes to even consider being a surrogate. If you’re unsure whether you qualify, our team can walk you through what’s required clearly, kindly, and without pressure.
