As I was making new keychains for Halloween, I wanted to make sure to include this one. Rather than using the blue puzzle piece or the blue pumpkin to label kids (and adults) as autistic, consider this symbol instead. Both the blue puzzle piece and the blue pumpkin can be harmful because they treat autism as difference, broken, and something to be 'fixed'. The rainbow infinity image offers a different mindset - a focus on inclusivity and Neuro-Diversity for everyone on the spectrum. Check out my newest neuro-graphic affirmation - "My Disability Can Be My Superpower." I find that creating and colouring neuro-graphic art helps me to relax and to regulate. It's just one more week until Summer is over and Autumn begins! To celebrate, the Guelph Optimist Club is hosting the last Market of Summer 2025 - The End of Summer Bazaar!
